As writers, we have stories to tell that if used for the right reasons will help others and the bottom line is that I want my writing to inspire whether I make any money from it or not. I am writing like you are to monetize my work here on Medium, but then I find myself sharing the ‘friends’ link to Facebook and Twitter so that my followers can read the article no matter what. I’m sure you do similar things so that the story you have to tell reaches the widest audience possible. With a pure heart, your willingness to help will not be compromised by the desire to earn money from your writing; only enhanced.
